Our Story

1990

Arrow's journey begins in 1990 when Des Ford began selling uniforms. The name "Arrow" was chosen to signify the fast and efficient services that his services would offer. Arrow quickly builds a strong reputation for providing quality products and excellent services.

1995

After outgrowing their Kilbirnie premises, Arrow moves into a new location at 443 Hutt Road, Lower Hutt. Growth continues steadily and a globally trend emerges. Importing garments becomes a competitive requirement. So in addition to manufacturing in New Zealand, in 1998, Arrow starts manufacturing overseas.

2005

Arrow moves into a much larger 30,000 square foot distribution centre at 66 Pharazyn Street, Lower Hutt. Inhouse branding facilities are established, resulting in the customisation of over 5,000 garments per week.

The RiverLink Project is introduced, and with it the news that Arrow must relocate. A new location is scouted, and work begins in 2022 to build a brand new building.
